Zyrtec: uses

Zyrtec is an antihistamine which provides relief of seasonal and perennial allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose ( rhinitis ) , itching eyes, and sneezing. It's also used for hives.

Zyrtec: how to use

Take Zyrtec by mouth once a day; or use as directed by your doctor. Zyrtec may be taken with or without food.

Do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.

Don't take Zyrtec for several days before allergy testing since test results can be affected.

Inform your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.

Zyrtec: side effects

Store Zyrtec at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F ( 20-25 degrees C ) away from light and moisture. Brief storage between 59-86 degrees F ( 15-30 degrees C ) is permitted. Or store in refrigerator between 36-46 degrees F ( 2-8 degrees C ) . Do not store Zyrtec in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
